In September, Becky Dreisdadt and I launched a project called ‘The Bear’, a series of stand alone images and anecdotes about being a first time parent, a first time dad.
It went well, exceptionally well. The book came out, you folks seemed to really enjoy it, about half as much Becky and I enjoyed making it.
As being a parent never ends, neither can this series apparently.
With that, we’ve launched The Bear: Volume 2 over at that Kickstarter place.
Take a look, won’t you? Makes for a wonderful gift.

My wife is doing the 10km walk for Multiple Sclerosis research. To aid in that funding we are auctioning off a future appearance in LFG, in which Richard will kill you (or the person of your choice). In the wee hours of the morning, Lar, Ari, Stone and Joel will be making their way to Calgary for one of my favorite shows of the year. You’ll be able to find them all weekend long at Booths #925 and #1025
I am sad to report however, that I won’t be able to make it, as it’s starting to look like the twins that my wife and I are expecting, are hoping to meet us sooner than anticipated.
Apparently, we’ve found the 2nd thing in the universe that will cause me to miss a con. My apologies that I won’t be there, but if you ask Lar nicely, he can forge my signature superbly.
When he does it, it’s almost actually legible.
