I still wanna know how the Bloodrage that died were reduced to bones in what was probably only a day or so… unless those are old bones that got yanked up by the war…
Fire and crows, mayhaps?
fire would leave scortch marks on the bone, and crows don’t work that fast (not unless there were about 100 crows per bloodrage and 20 per dwarf… and that’s low-end estimates) even then, there would still probably be tissue.
The soil could have corroded the flesh. It’s not earth, so it could have worked much faster.
Flesh eating beetles
It was more than a day. The gnomes had enough time to retreat back to their stronghold under the mountain, and the sisters back to their shrine. Also, with a fire that big from the last panel, it would need days to be put out.
Not panel, page.
Better never than late.
