LFG & Me

May 28, 2013

Been far too long since I made a blog post, and for that I apologize. To make up for my silence, allow me to run through several LFG-related projects and give you updates on where they stand.

The Sohmer Family

My wife, Son and I, are pleased to announce that our twins were born May 20th, healthy and happy. Or as happy as one can be torn from a womb. Still, the twins, one boy, one girl, are pretty damn cute.

 LFG: This is War

There continue to be weekly updates on the Kickstarter, but things are moving along wonderfully. 90% of the physical rewards have been shipped, and the short itself will be finished this summer.

Not only are we finishing it, but since we started this thing 4 years ago, we’re going back and doing some tweaks on it. From where I’m standing, it’s blowing Slaughter the World out of the Water.

LFG & The Fork of Truth

Keep an eye out over the next couple of weeks, as we slowly fill you in on exactly what we’ve been up to.

LFG: The Movie

Once This is War is complete, as well as the secret project above, we can finally move forward on the LFG movie. Yay? Yay.

-Because I Can.

Just a quick “congradulations” from a fan and fellow father of boy-girl twins. My two (known as either “joy and happiness” or “fear and doom”, depending on the hour) are now five years old; this means it is likely that you too, will survive. Good luck.

  • Laura Ulian

Congrats on the bouncing baby girl and boy. Tell your wife she is brave and deserves an Oscar more than Leonardo DiCaprio for what she’s accomplished in 9 months. Also, looking forward to the new short and future movie. Cheers!

  • Xynas

Congratulations to the both of you!

  • Jamil

That’s awesome! Twins are great. I’m a twin and I enjoyed the hell out of my brother. He was my best friend through my whole life!

LFG & The Fork of Truth! Can I guess? It will be a cool new project! By the way, congratulations on getting 3 minutes of footage out on LICD animated, which got funded with a little over $105.000 almost two years back. In case you are able to keep this speed going, you will have the entire 20 minute pilot done in a little over 10 years! Don’t get me wrong, I love LFG to bits, and have been since I’ve started reading it years ago. I however don’t trust Blind Ferret promises on deliverables anymore.

But I’m sure plenty off people will disagree. I’m sure this will again have a wildly successful kickstarter. Because you can.

Congrats on the twins! As the other half of a boy/girl twin, I can tell you this ……. We don’t always feel or know what the other one is doing. On the rare occasion that we do, it’s creepy as hell.
    Good luck and enjoy!!

I can only say “FOR PONY” to all i’ve read in this post. All good news, i dare to say

Welcome to the community of multiples. I also have a 4 yr old girl, and 3yr old boy/girl twins. You’ll remember NOTHING of the first 6 months. I wish you well. Lemme give you a few quick tips. Put 2 towels in the crib, one under each twin. This way if one makes a mess, you can swap the towel without disturbing the other twin. Good luck. Later, we found it easier if one of us slept with one twin, and the other slept in another room with the other twin. That increased actual sleep time from 2 hrs to 5.

Congratulations! As the sister of twin brothers, I can safely say that it was awesome having 2 new playmates. I wish you and your family all the best. Huzzah to 2 new babies in the family! :)

Congratulation Sohmer Family on your wonderful new additions! Hearing that they are happy, healthy, and safe is the best news of all.

  • MrLightRail

Can anyone tell me how Dnar can be COMPLETELY healed, but her mother’s eye is still out?

    • fwiffo

If you look “Dnah” is not completely healed. Also, from a legitimate comic viewpoint, you don’t want to alter character designs drastically. It is part of what makes her who she is.

  • Marcel

I´m also a father of twins. The first year is the worst. The second is bad. And then….well it´s like beeing in the war….somehow you get used to erverything.
